Hollie Vernon Pace, 86, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at ECM Hospital, Florence.
He was a native of Franklin County and a factory worker in manufacturing. He attended Freedom Hill Holy Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Wayne Bumgart officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery, Vina.
Survivors are three sisters-in-law, Lois Pace and Lorine Taylor, both of Red Bay, and Edith Scoby, Arnold, Mich., and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Mae Umfress Pace, his parents, Walter and Dovie Mae Mansell Pace and his brothers and sisters, Carlton Pace, Billy Pace, Pauline Pace, Geraldine Henson and Glenis Hogan.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Green, Bobby Taylor, James Taylor, Thomas Pendergraph, Chuck Hall and Tim Ward.
