Paul Edward Stamper, 68, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at his residence.

He was general foreman at Mueller Brass for 45 years. He was a member and elder of Cornerstone Church of God and a Gideon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Funeral services Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay, with Bro. Benjamin Young and Bro. J.E. Jackson officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are his wife, Patricia Stamper, Red Bay; five children, Paula Luke and husband, Tony, Preston, Miss., David Stamper and wife, Lana, of  Natchez, Miss., Leah Brown and husband, Sammy, Red Bay, Hope Spencer and husband, Allen, of Fulton, Miss., and Michael Stamper and wife, Sabrina, of Belmont, Miss., and eight grandchildren, Hannah Hardy, Jake Luke, Brody Channell, Jack Spencer, Eve Stamper, Maya Spencer, Titus Stamper and Nathan Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.K. Stamper and Nannie  Stamper.

Pallbearers will be elders of Cornerstone Church of God, Don Roberts, William Rackard, David Humphries, Doug Ray, Terry Parsons, Patrick Brooks, Dale Robbins and Jerald Gillentine.
