James Earl Presley, 67, Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at ECM Hospital.

He was a State of Alabama licensed contractor and builder and also a member of the Cotton Flats Cruizers.

The visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Nick McSpadden officiating. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Presley; sons, James Darren Presley and wife, Melanie, Stacey Earl Presley and wife, Amy; granddaughter, Elizabeth Presley; brothers, Larry Presley and wife, Lorraine, Louis Presley and wife, Sonja, Wayne Presley and wife, Norma, Mike Presley and wife, Jeanette; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two uncles and one aunt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Dellie Presley; brothers, Johnny Presley, Leroy Presley, Ernest Presley, Elvis Presley; and granddaughter, Heather Nicole Presley.

The pallbearers will be his nephews and cousins.

He was such a wonderful, loving husband, dad, brother, and uncle.  He was so good and kind to everyone and will always be loved and remembered by all.
