Police look for missing canine

A Russellville police dog has been missing since about 1 a.m. Thursday and officials are hoping citizens can help find the lost animal.

Simba is a 7-year old Belgian Malinois. She has a black face and a redish brown color throughout the rest of her body. She escaped from her Patrol Unit around 1 a.m.

She was seen on PD cameras exiting the south end of the police department parking lot.

Officials stressed that Simba is not an aggressive animal. She has on a silver choke collar with a Russellville

PD Badge and a green Rabis Tag also hanging on the collar. Anyone that has seen her is asked to contact Russellville PD or their local agency.
