Helen Louise Odom, 81, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Helen Keller Hospital.  
She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.
The visitation will be at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  Officiating at the service will be Bro. Wayne Boyles and Bro. Bobby Poss.  Interment will be at Spruce Pine Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Odom; parents, James and Lizzie Little.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald Odom and wife, Susan, Phil Campbell, Gary Odom and wife, Wolanda, of Phil Campbell; grandchildren, Amy Odom, Patrick Odom, Joslyn Garrison, Jonathon Odom, Elizabeth Odom; great-grandchildren, Luke Garrison, Lydia Garrison, Parker Odom, Sadie Odom, Collins Odom; sister, Eloise Bates; nephew, Phil Bates, niece, Annette Bates, of Ill.
