Jessie M. McCarley

Jessie M. McCarley

July 18, 2011

Jessie Maxine McCarley went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 18, 2011.
She was born Aug. 15, 1930, and was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Lou Ledlow and father, Ralph Ledlow. She married Eugene McCarley on July 31, 1948, and would be celebrating their 63rd anniversary.

Maxine was a lover of fishing in her spare time when she wasn’t working in her beauty shop, located next to her home. She gave up her business to help raise her two granddaughters full time. Her daughter and granddaughters were her pride and joy and she went on to be a great-grandmother three times over and adored and cherished them all the days of her life.

She graced anyone who had the honor of knowing her with her love, warmth, caring and giving heart that could match no other. All that we are came from her love. She was the inspiration of our lives and hearts.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Jerome Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene McCarley; daughter Paula McCarley Aycock (Charles Scott); granddaughters, Christy Darks and her husband, Billy, Courtney Aycock; great-grandchildren, Austin, Jentry, and Sabra.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Stone, Billy Darks, Jr., Jerry McCarley, James McCarley, Roy Strickland and Charles Scott.

She will live in our hearts forever.
