Run-off elections are Tuesday, don’t forget to vote
Voters will return to the polls Tuesday in a run-off election to determine the final candidates for this fall’s general election.
Republicans will vote on candidates for three state offices — Governor, Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries and Public Service Commission, Place No. 1 while democrats will vote for a candidate for sheriff and for the state Attorney General.
Although there are not many offices on the ballot, this election is just as important as the primary election was in June, as it will finalize who will be on the ballot in November.
The state is at an important crossroads and needs strong leadership as it attempts to emerge from the tough economic conditions it finds itself in today.
Help find that leadership by voting Tuesday.
