NWSCC brightens futures of students in Franklin County

Northwest Shoals Community College in Phil Campbell is a great asset for Franklin County.

Not only has the school provided several scholarships for local high school seniors who graduated in May, but it also offers an opportunity for these students to continue their education close to home.

The proximity of the campus and the cost of tution also provides students who might have thought a college education was not possible with an opportunity to get that education.

With the rising costs of tuition, the option of going to a bigger university is not an easily reachable goal for many.

NWSCC recognizes that and is trying to help. The scholarships handed out to area students shows NWSCC cares about helping the futures of Franklin County’s students.
