Goldie Welborn

June 13, 2010

Goldie Ethel Welborn, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at National Health Care, Moulton.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in the chapel.  Officiating will be Bro. Ricky Watt and Bro. Canton Hovater.  Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Methodist Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by husband, Clifton Walter Welborn; parents, Jeffrey & Ella Bryant; son, James Clifton “J.C.” Welborn; granddaughter, Susan Welborn, brother, Harvey Bryant; sisters, Mildred Kuykendall, Dona Rucker; Elsie Rucker; Hazel Smith, Louis Johnson.

She is survived by her children, Arlin Hugh Welborn; Willadean Counts and husband, Allen; grandchildren, Thomas Counts (wife, Leigh Ann), Mary Kimbrough and husband, Larry, Harriet Inman (husband, Anthony), Mark Welborn and wife, Pam, Gary Welborn and wife, Ann, Darren Welborn (wife, Amanda, Richard Welborn; great-grandchildren, Tyler Counts, Katy Counts, Bartlett Kimbrough, Elizabeth Kimbrough, Will Inman, Ryan Inman, Alana Welborn, Kyle Clark, Lane Welborn; Karley Welborn, Macy Welborn; one great-great grandson; and numerous nieces & nephews.

The pallbearers will be Thomas Counts, Larry Kimbrough, Anthony Inman, Mark Welborn, Gary Welborn, Darren Welborn, and Richard Welborn.  The  honorary pallbearers will be the great-grandsons.
