Percy William Pugh, 68, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Burns Nursing Home.
He was a native of Charlottesville, Va., but had lived in Russellville for the past 38 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a salesman with Franklin Homes. He was a past member of the Army Reserves and had served on the Russellville Airport Board, the Russellville Hospital Board and several other boards.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 19, 2010, at Calvary Baptist Church, Russellville, with Bro. Wade Wallace and Mayor Troy Oliver officiating. Burial was in the Red Bay City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Jocklyn L. Pugh; children, Devon Cox and husband Guy, of Russellville, and Stephanie Battle and husband, Marc, of Huntsville; brother, Ron Pugh and wife, Joan, of Charlottesville, Va.; grandchildren, Madeleine Battle and Alexander Battle; two nieces.
Pallbearers were Vance Hester, Chris Burcham, Peter James, David Grissom, Gary Pounders, Larry Plott and Johnny Pounders.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy C. and Erna H. Pugh.

Dustin N. Riddle

Dustin Nathaniel Riddle, 30, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
The family will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, 2010, in the Collins-Burke Chapel with Bro. Stanley Hargett officiating. Burial will be in the Riddle Family Cemetery in Haleyville.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Nathaniel Riddle and Eugene Roberts and special nephew, Landon Baccus.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Baccus Riddle; mother, Becky Riddle and father, Bill Riddle; son, Kale Riddle; sister, Deanna Bentley and Chris Ivey; brother, Darit Riddle and wife Shay; grandparents, Maxene Roberts and Ovaleen Riddle; nieces and nephews, Blake Bentley, Maddie Riddle, Cooper Riddle, Abby Layne Odom, Brandon Odom, Braxton Odom, Clint Edwards, Ken Riley Edwards and Nolan Edwards.
Pallbearers will be Nick Porter, Paul Johnson, Lyle Cagle, Bobby Crook, Nathan Preston and Chris Ivey.
Margie J. Tidwell

Margie Jewell Tidwell, 83, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Springfield, Ill., but had lived in this area for the past 12 years. She was a member of Isbell United Methodist Church. She was a retired hairdresser.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Isbell United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Formby officiating.
Burial will follow in Hamilton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Survivors include husband, Dr. Leroy Tidwell, of Florence; son, Larry Wayne Roberts, of Hamilton; daughter-in-law, Rose Roberts; grandchildren, Chris Roberts and wife, Donna, Amy Frederick and husband, Seth; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Sara, Jamie and Billy Frederick.
She was preceded in death by husband, R. C. Roberts; parents, Andy and Myrtle Powless.
Flowers accepted or in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Isbell United Methodist Church, Russellville, Ala.

Beatrice Loden Burleson, 85, of Haleyville, died Monday, March 15, 2010.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville. Burial was in the Sullins Cemetery in Marion County.

Joey Fletcher, 28, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Bond officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Brown, Brian Brown, Ricky Brown, Steve Patterson, Chad Stauch and Brandon Weeks.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Lee Gargus, Jr.; infant brother, Anthony Fletcher; grandparents, William Lee Gargus, Sr. and Juanita Foster Gargus; uncle, Charles Malcolm Gargus.
He is survived by wife, Jenny Harris Fletcher; children, Kesciley, Karley and Karson Fletcher; mother, Tammy Lynn Saint; sister, Mellisa Fletcher Fish and her husband, Mike; brothers, David and Michael Gargus; step brother, Skylor Bouwmans; grandparents, Bobby and Pat Saint; father and mother-in-law, Rickie and Marlene Harris; brother and sister-in-law, Eric Harris and wife, Jenny; nieces and nephews, Michaela, Alayna Grace and Brett Fish, and Elijah Harris.

Jaxson Keith Kerby, of Town Creek, died March 18, 2010.
He was the infant son of Keith and Lachelle Kerby, of Town Creek.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Jacob Borden, of Town Creek; grandparents, Marlon and Joann Kerby, of Town Creek, and Jerry Wayne and Connie Bradford, of Town Creek, and Danny and Vanessa Smith, of Moulton; and great-grandparents, Wayne and Vivian Box of Oneonta.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Town Creek with Bro. Hollis Retherford.
