The Russellville Police Department is looking for a man who robbed the manager of the city's Taco Bell restaurant Monday morning.
Officials said the manager was robbed at gunpoint about 10:15 a.m. as the employee left the facility.
Police Chief Chris Hargett said a suspect wearing a white tank top and a blue bandana was waiting at the manager's car as he was taking a deposit to the bank.
"The robbery occurred around 10:15 Monday morning," Hargett said.
"He fled on foot after taking the money."
Hargett said the robber was carrying a black handgun and threatened the manager in order to gain access to the cash.
"We called Muscle Shoals Police Department to assist in the case with their canine unit," Hargett said.
"The dog lost the suspect's trail during the heavy rainfall Monday."
The amount of money taken from the business has not been released, and the investigation continues to be on going.
The suspect is described as a black male about five feet, eight inches to six feet tall. He was wearing a white tank top, t-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call the RPD at 332-2230.
