Medications stolen from local pharmacy

The Russellville Police Department is seeking information from anyone who might have seen a pharmacy burglary last week.
Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said officers responded to an alarm call at Russellville Pharmacy in the early morning hours of Aug. 8.
"An officer was in the parking lot of the business doing paperwork just before the alarm was triggered," Hargett said. "By the time the officer got to the station, the alarm had gone off."
Hargett said even though the department's response time was less than two minutes, the pharmacy was empty.
"Entry was made by taking a deadbolt out of the doorframe," Hargett said. "We not sure what tools were used to gain entry."
Hargett said various medications were taken from the premises including medications for pain, blood pressure, asthma and antihistamines.
"A small two-door vehicle dark in color was seen on the surveillance tape driving away," Hargett said.
Investigators are asking that anyone with any information on this theft to come forward and speak with police at 332-2230.
