Thanks to FBI for helping keeping our officers safe

The Federal Bureau of Investigation was in Franklin County yesterday teaching our law enforcement officials how to be safe while on duty.
The Red Bay Police Department hosted the free training event so that local officials, including officers in their departments, could receive good, quality training close to home. Over 50 members of the law enforcement community, both locally and around the region, took advantage of this training.
Training is essential for anyone in any job, but for these officers it could mean the difference between going home to their families or their families being told they are not ever coming home again.
Our area, including Huntsville, Florence and even Marion County, have been placed in the line of fire recently. Thanks to the FBI teaching this course locally, our officers will be better prepared for that danger when it comes.
