Town deserves better than what they've got

Red Bay is a wonderful town.
Nestled over in its own little corner of the county, it has been a thriving and vibrant town for years.
It is one of the most self-sufficient and beautiful towns of its size anywhere.
Few towns, regardless of size, can boast of the industrial success that Red Bay has had.
Citizens have a water park, skate park and a museum to visit.
What other town of 3,500 has such facilities?
Another thing that sets Red Bay apart is the warmth and generosity of its citizens. Whether it's raising money for cancer patients or a one-of-a-kind boys' home the city has, people give of themselves for others.
That community deserves better than what it is currently getting from people who should know how to act.
We hope the city council, all members of the police department and all citizens remember what made the town so special in the first place and quickly get back to making headlines for doing good.
