Let fathers know today what they mean to you
By Staff
Today is Father's Day, a day where people all across the country take some kind of tool or shirt or useless tie to their dad.
Giving gifts are a big part of American holidays no matter which holiday it is.
But that is certainly not the most important part of this day. Sharing time with our fathers and remembering how much they have done for us in our lives is what matters.
With family structures in America changing so rapidly, the father figure has been replaced in many ways.
That is such a sad commentary.
Dating back to Biblical times, the father has long been the strong influential presence in a household.
That is so important as our kids face new challenges with each passing day.
Take time today, or any day, to share with your father and let them know what they have meant in your lives.
