Franklin D. Beasley

Franklin D. Beasley, 75, of Phil Campbell, died Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Mr. Beasley had lived his entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church in Phil Campbell. He was a retired restaurant owner.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 8, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Mt. View Baptist Church with Bro. Sammy Taylor and Greg Beasley officiating. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; son, Jeff Beasley and wife, Melissa, of Salisbury, N.C.; daughters, Debra Mays and husband, David, of Spruce Pine, Sherry Peppers and her husband, Dan, of Russellville; brother, Hubert Beasley, of Phil Campbell; sister, Kathy Emerson, of Vina; grandchildren, Jeremy Peppers and wife, Amanda, Jonathan Mays and wife, Emily, Danielle Peppers McLain and husband, Jesse, Amy Mays Knight and husband, Bret, Craig Beasley, Kala Beasley; great-grandchild, Caitlin McLain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Nellie Beasley; brothers, Dewey and Eugene Beasley, and sister, Stella Mae Beasley.
Special thanks to the 4th floor nurses at Helen Keller Hospital, the North Alabama Cancer Center and Dr. Lynn Ridgeway.
Thomas T. Malone

Thomas Terrell Malone, 63, of Russellville, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2008.
The visitation will be 12 to 2 p.m. today at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. with Bro. Wayne Boyles officiating.
Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Thomas Malone; stepfather, Walston Pace, and brother, Charles Malone.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Pearl Malone; sons, Heath and Tanya Malone, Steve and Tracy Malone, Kevin and Reba Malone; grandchildren, Stephanie Malone, Kelly Malone, Haley Malone, Jessica Malone, Colton Malone, Colton Malone and Nicholas Malone; mother, Elizabeth Malone Pace; sister, Mary Moses; three nephews, two nieces and three great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Malone, Dewayne Malone, Christopher Malone, Jamie Smith, Josh Smith, Matt Smith, Donnie Hanback and Ray Yocom. Honorary pallbearers will be Colton Malone and Nicholas Malone.
