Randall (Randy) Hugh Hamilton, 55, of Belgreen, passed away May 30, 2008.
Funeral services were held on June 3, 2008, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Andy Cansler officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Ruby Jean Hamilton, and brother, Ricky "Moe" Hamilton.
He is survived by his sons, Kendall and Pam Hamilton, of Pembroke, NC, and Jace Hamilton, of Birmingham; granddaughter, Reece Gracen Hamilton; sister, Sheila Malone; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church and a life-long resident of Franklin County.
Rhonda G. Elliott
May 31, 2008
Rhonda Gail Elliott, 54, of Red Bay, died May 31, 2008, at Helen Keller Hospital.
She was born August 4, 1953, in Louisiana to Chevis and Olive Raburn Gibson. She was involved in sales for 20 years and was a member of First Baptist Church, Red Bay.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Chevis Gibson, and brother, Dennis Gibson.
Funeral services were held on June 3, 2008, at Deaton Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Hill officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Elliott; two sons, Brandon Elliott and his wife, Rebecca Johnson Elliott, and Blake Elliott; mother, Olive Gibson; one granddaughter, Ava Elliott; mother-in-law, Beatrice Elliott, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Tracy Elliott, Terry Elliott, Andy Elliott, Randy Elliott, Tim Mauldin and Mark Daily.
Peggy R. Snider

Peggy Ruth Snider, 68, formerly of Russellville, passed away May 26, 2008, after a long battle with cancer.
She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother and friend to all who knew her. Her sweet spirit, kindness, faith and determination were a blessing and inspiration to everyone. "My Tribute," "What a Wonderful World" and "Gentle Savior" were her favorite songs and she lived by Psalms 23 and Corinthians 13.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ott and Estelle Sumerel, and sister, Sandra Sumerel.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 52 years, James W. Snider; son, Jimmy Snider (fianc/e Beverly), of Tampa, Fla.; daughter, Jennifer Mulkey (Jerry), of Birmingham; and "Dog Snider; brother, Earl Sumerel (Nancy), of Madison; sister, Sheila Terry (Gary), of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; special cousin and sister-in-law, Rosa Lee Snider (Maxwell), of Russellville; four nieces and one nephew, Rebecca Moore (Keith), of Smyrna, Tenn.; Amy Pippin (Michael), of Foley; Heather Munoz (Robert), of Antioch, Tenn,; Jeff Snider, of Russellville; three great nephews, two great nieces and one on the way.
She was a member of Maytown Baptist Church and the Joyful Servants Sunday School class. She belonged to the Louise Richardson Chapter #236 Order of the Eastern Star. She served as Grand Ruth for the state of Alabama in 1994-1995; Aromaz Dynasty #163 Daughters of the Nile; and Birmingham Court #4 Order of the Amaranth.
Funeral services were held on May 29, 2008, with Brothers John Killian and Edwin Talley officiating. Burial was in Village Falls Cemetery in Mulga.
Charles L. Burch
June 1, 2008
Charles Lloyd Burch, 59, Muscle Shoals, Alabama died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Helen Keller Hospital.
He was a native of Ethridge, Tennessee, but had lived in Muscle Shoals for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville with burial to follow immediately after the service.
Survivors include wife, Emma Burch, Muscle Shoals, Alabama; son, Charles "Barry" Burch, Harrison, Tennessee; mother, Betty Burch, Athens, Alabama; brother, Jeff Burch, Nashville, Tennessee; sisters, Faye Downs, Athens, Alabama, Suzie Raney, Elkmont, Alabama; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Rufus Lloyd Burch.
