**50th anniversary**
Ben and Barbara "Bobbie" Webb will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004. A party was given in their honor on Saturday by their children grandchildren. The Webbs have four children, Ben Webb Jr., Nelda Speed, Brenda Thomas and Gower Webb; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
**60th anniversary**
Mr. and Mrs. James E. Carmichael celebrated their 60th anniversary on Sept. 30th, 2004. They were married in Stonewall by the Rev. Sollie Smith.
