Nikki Michelle Gressett and Brandon Daniel Maxwell, both of Meridian, were married April 3, 2004, at Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Philadelphia with the Rev. Andy Murry officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dudley and Kathy Gressett of Collinsville and Danny and Sandi Maxwell and Ken and Joan Moulds, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mary Nell Ethridge and the late M.B. Ethridge, Peggy Ethridge, Maurine Gressett and the late V.O. "Choc" Gressett.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Leo and Doris Lockhart, Jenett Harper and Louie Maxwell and the late Clarice Maxwell.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Lauren Goodman, vocalist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory gown of Duchess satin. The bodice featured embroidery and intricate beadwork that flowed onto the princess skirt. The skirt flowed into a chapel-length train that featured the embroidery and beadwork at the hemline. For her headpiece, the bride wore an ivory veil anchored by a tiara of crystals and pearls.
Christy Day of Meridian served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Sherry Riser of Brandon, and Krystal Knight and Summer Stephens, both of Meridian.
Olivia Avera of Meridian was flower girl.
The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Chris Richardson, Andy Maxwell, Kevin Avera, Shon McBrayer, Daniel Maxwell and Clay Harper, all of Meridian, and Trent Gressett of Collinsville.
Alex and Seth Day of Meridian were ring bearers.
Program attendant was Denise George.
A reception was held at the club following the ceremony. Assisting were Laci Maxwell and Pamela Hambrick, sisters of the bridegroom.
After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Meridian.
