Jamie Leigh Kerley of Meridian and William Seth Joyner of Nashville, Tenn., were married Saturday, April 17, 2004, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Elvin Sunds officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Danny Kerley of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wade Joyner Jr. of Nashville.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Webb Thompson and Maxie Kerley, all of Bassfield, and the late John L. "Jack" Kerley.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mildred Nix Joyner of Nashville and the late Edward Wade Joyner Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Hope Allen.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Edward Nobles, organist; Sue Shoffiet, flautist; Ron Widener, trumpeter; Arica Evans, violinist; and Lori Joyner, vocalist.
The bride wore a gown of ivory duchesses satin with a strapless bodice detailed with a bias cuff neckline centered with an antique brooch. The full box pleated skirt swept into a chapel-length train. She wore a cathedral-length veil of illusion with embroidery, crystals and pearl accents.
Jessica Nicole Neal of New Orleans served as maid of honor. Kristin Thompson Kerley of Madison, sister-in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor. Other attendants were Joie Cheri Blount of Decatur, Abigail Hardeman Diddle of Knoxville, Tenn., Cassie Martin Fountain of Madison, Elizabeth Ragsdale Peden of Brandon, Alesia Brooke Peek of Meridian, Elizabeth Jonne Phillips of Oxford, Leslee Shelly Stewart of Atlanta, Helen Page Trewolla of Jackson, Dorothy Claire Wilder of Meridian and Heather Russell Wilson of Maryville, Tenn.
Virginia Todd Moore of Hendersonville, N.C., was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Donald Raye Abercrombie of Pensacola, Fla., James Kitchens Bennett of Corinth, John Stafford Bussey of Nashville, Albert Duling IV of Orlando, Fla., Shane Farrar Elam of Memphis, Tenn., Max William Howland Jr. of Nashville, Edward Wade Joyner III of Nashville, brother of the bridegroom, William Kevin Kerley of Madison, brother of the bride, John Todd Moore Jr. of Hendersonville, brother-in-law of bridegroom, Todd McLaurin Wade of Houston, Texas, and Fulton Joseph Wold of Knoxville, Tenn.
Ushers were George Wesley Holder III of Nashville, Asa Gregory Talbott Howard of Oxford and Joseph McCall Roberts III of Nashville.
Mason Christopher Knowles of Dallas was ring bearer.
Book attendant was Kimberly Lee Poole. Lectors were Jacie Marie Bridges, Thomas McCarver Rayburn and Eleanor Ritchey Tomich. Greeters and program attendants were Natalie Oldham Breaux, William Lee Sloan, Suzanne Patton Heron and Martha Anne Parker.
A reception was held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony. Assisting at the wedding were Alexandra Howard and Melanie Mitchell.
After a honeymoon to the Mayan Riviera, the couple resides in Memphis, Tenn.
