50th anniversary
Rush and Ruth Gordon
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 12, 2004. The couple married on Aug. 12, 1954, and have three sons, Joseph, David and Paul. Mr. Gordon is retired from Wesley House and Mrs. Gordon is retired from the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
25th anniversary
Kay Thomas and Howard Thomas Crenshaw of Newton celebrated their 25th anniversary on Aug. 19, 2004, with a family vacation in Florida. The couple were married at Newton United Methodist Church in 1979. They have a daughter, Leslie, a student at the University of Mississippi. Mr. Crenshaw is director of pharmacy at The Regency Hospital of Meridian. Mrs. Crenshaw is a claims representative for the Social Security Administration in Newton. Mrs. Crenshaw is the former Kay Thomas of Newton.
