Services for Sandra Kay Cochran Coates will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Northcrest Baptist Church with the Revs. Dr. Malcolm Lewis, Dr. Danny Lanier and Steve Winstead officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Coates, 54, of Meridian, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at Guardian Angel Hospice. She was a retired housekeeper at Meridian Community College. She was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Coates of Meridian; her father, W.D. Cochran and her step-mother, Jackie Cochran of York, Ala.; a sister, Linda Grimes of Fayette, Ala.; two step-children and one step-grandchild; nieces, Vickie Kimbrell, Denise Crenshaw and Trisha Strickland and a nephew, Jimmy Wilborn; and care givers, Ed and Wendy Williams of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Cochran; sisters, Ginger Cochran and Patricia Wilborn.
Memorials may be made to Northcrest Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be members of Northcrest Baptist Church, Edward R. Williams, Jimmy Johnson, George Blackwell, Bill Duncan, Oliver Clair and Jerry Walker.
Visitation will be Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Northcrest Baptist Church.
Services for Anna B. Pringle will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on 49th Avenue with the Rev. Gerald Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Pringle, 84, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include her son, Johnnie Pringle of Meridian; 10 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

MACON Services for Era Sattawhite Cooper will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Glenn Miller, Andy Pearson and D. R. Ragsdale officiating. Burial will be Oddfellows Cemetery with a private family graveside service. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cooper, 97, of Macon, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at Noxubee County Nursing Home in Macon.
Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Kay Harvey of Meridian; sons, Burton Giles Cooper of Mathis, Texas and Larry Bailey Cooper of Macon; a sister, Mary McBee of Rockwall, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, James Madison and Tacy Virginia Watson Sattawhite and a daughter, Betty Jo Johnston.
Memorials may be made to X-Prairie United Methodist Church, First United Methodist Church or a charity of choice.
Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. in the church fellowship hall.

Services for Arthur Baylor will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Albert Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Baylor, 66, of Meridian, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his sons, the Rev. James Baylor and Lee Arthur Baylor, both of Meridian; a daughter, Desiree Washington of Meridian; sisters, Sadie Alexander and Clara White, both of Chicago, Lula Snowden, Dorothy Wooten and Louiza Wright, all of Meridian; brothers, the Rev. John Baylor of Bailey, Willie J. Baylor of Cleveland, Ohio, Willie B. Baylor, Jessie Baylor and Ervin Lee Baylor, all of Meridian and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. William W. Baylor and Mary Temple Baylor.
Visitation will be Friday 3 p.m.-6 p.m. and family hour from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Alvin Patton will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Stonewall with the Rev. Johnny Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Stonewall Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Patton, 55, of Meridian, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Patton of Meridian; daughters, Keisha Patton and Julia Patton, both of Stonewall and Lisa Pearson of Meridian; sons, Travis E. Lanier and Jonathan J. Price, both of Meridian and John W. Price Jr., of Quitman; sisters, Carlin Patton, Rosetta Patton, Joan Bell and Janice Patton, all of Detroit, and Janette Shorts of Stonewall; a brother, Marvin Patton, of Detroit and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Theodore "T.J." Aniel, 21, of Meridian, who died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, in Meridian.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Ashley Taylor, 50, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Rufus Ivy, 68, of Bailey, who died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home in DeKalb for Peggy Warren, 68, of Scooba, who died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
