Mr. Busby, 59, of Silas, died Friday, July 9, 2004,in Silas.
Survivors include his mother, Ethyl Stewart Busby of Silas; his wife, Becky C. Busby of Silas; sons, Jeffrey Alman Busby and James Jerry Busby Jr., both of Pleasant Hill and Andy Stewart of Silas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Busby.
Memorial services for Julian Darrell Hatcher will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Jacob officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hatcher, 53, of Meridian, died Friday, July 9, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He loved to hunt and fish and was loved by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Gilbertson Hatcher of Meridian; sons, Chase Hatcher of Indianapolis and Grant Hatcher of Meridian; daughters, Angela Hutchinson of Meridian and Crystal Hutchinson of Canton; a granddaughter, Alana Franklin; his mother, Eloise Hatcher of Meridian; sisters, Jill Weir of Collinsville and Cynthia Van Devender of Vicksburg.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Pam Hatcher and his father, Julius Hatcher.
QUITMAN Services for Randy Jones will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Little Rock AME Church in Crandall. Burial will be in Zion Chapel Cemetery in Quitman. Turner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jones, 47, of Shubuta, died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be Tuesday 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
QUITMAN Services for Robert Lee DuBose Jr. will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Center Ridge Baptist Church in DeSoto with the Rev. Lorenza Carter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Turner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. DuBose, 68, of DeSoto, died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his sons, Robert Earl DuBose, Elbert Charles DuBose, Chester Ray DuBose, David Lee DuBose, and Ricky Duncan; daughters, Mamie Smith, Rita Duncan, Robin Louise, Regina Altman, Romona DuBose; an adopted daughter, Andrea Davis; brothers, Joe DuBose of Passaic, N.J., Sam DuBose of Greensboro, N.C., Theodore DuBose of Berkley,Calif., Edward Steve DuBose, Jerry DuBose and Woodrow DuBose, all of Passaic; sisters, Hattie White of Passaic and Jennie Hart of Virginia; 32 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughters, Bobbie Louise and DeLores Jean DuBose.
Visitation will be Wednesday 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for George Johnson, 59, of Meridian, who died Monday, July 12, 2004, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Thelma Scott, 73, of Meridian, who died Thursday, July 8, 2004, in her home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Josie Steele, 85, of Meridian, who died Sunday, July 11, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
