34th anniversary
Raymond "Randy" and Lucille Frye recently celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary. They were married May 27, 1970. They lived in Meridian in 2002 when Randy's job transferred him to Naval Air Station Meridian. They have three children, Regina Williams of Pacolet Mills, S.C., Ray Frye of West Springs, S.C., and Georgia E. Frye of Meridian. They have four grandchildren, Gray Williams, Cole Frye, Josie Frye and Troy Frye. They returned home to Spartanburg, S.C. in 2003.
50th anniversary
Roger Kenneth and Shirley Estes Harrison will celebrate their 50th anniversary on June 5, 2004, with a reception from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The couple have two sons, Tod Harrison and his wife, Ladonna, and Glen Harrison and his wife, Dawn; and six grandchildren, Heather Roebuck, Travis Roebuck, Nicole Roebuck, Lacye Harrison, Delton Harrison and Heston Harrison. The family requests no gifts please.
65th anniversary
W.M. and Liddie Grayson will celebrate their 65th anniversary on June 3, 2004. The couple were married in 1939. They have two children, Marion Lee Grayson and his wife, Brenda, and Patricia Grayson Reeves and her husband, Hubert, all of Meridian; six grandchildren, William Alvie "Bill" Grayson and his wife, Nina, Joseph Scott Grayson and Leslie Nichole Currie, all of Meridian, Candy LaChelle Proctor and her husband, Steve, of Independence, Ky., Holly Reeves and Josh Reeves of Forest; three great-grandchildren, Brandon Grayson and Gunner Lee Grayson, both of Meridian, and Gage Mikle Proctor of Independence.
