Robert and Kathy Busby of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Cynthia Michelle, to Timothy Aaron Reed, son of Virgil and Helen Reed of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
Miss Busby is the granddaughter of Willie Maskew and Thelma Varnado of Gulfport.
She is a graduate of West Lauderdale Attendance Center and received an associate's degree in graphic design from Meridian Community College. Miss Busby is employed by Sear's Portrait Studio.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School. He is employed by Coca-Cola Bottling Co.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
