Belinda Tadlock and Mr. and Mrs. Clement White of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Felicia Dane White, to Lloyd Michael Bowden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bowden of Guntown.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 15, 2004, at 4 p.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church.
Miss White is the granddaughter of Thomas Roberson of Russell and the late Miriam Roberson, and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Dumas of Chunky.
The bride-elect is an highest honors graduate of Clarkdale High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Spanish Club and the FCCLA. She is currently attending Meridian Community College and is employed by Citizen's National Bank.
Mr. Bowden is the grandson of Nannie Mae Bowden of Meridian and the late Preston Bowden, and Emma Keyes of Tallulah, La., and the late Joseph Keyes.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Saltillo High School and is employed by Mitchell's Roofing Service.
A reception will be held at Cafe Latt following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
