Carlisle, White

Mr. and Mrs. Quenton Carlisle of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth, to David Marcus White, son of Dr. and Mrs. Carl Marcus White of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at 5 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Carlisle is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Marion Martin of Brandon; Dorothy Rogers Carlisle of Collins and the late John E. Carlisle.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and attended Meridian Community College and Jones County Junior College. She received a degree in marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Miss Carlisle is employed with Cingular Wireless.
Mr. White is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Purser White of Clinton and the late Barbara Dodds Beville. He is the great-grandson of Frances Dorman Dodds of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clinton High School and Mississippi College.
Mr. White is the youth minister at Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson.
A reception will be held in the church family life center following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
