The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department is asking for help finding David Kilpatrick of Hickory, who is wanted for felony possession of a weapon.
Maj. Ward Calhoun, a spokesman with the department, said Kilpatrick may be involved in a burglary ring that spans several counties. He also said Kilpatrick should be considered armed and dangerous.
Kilpatrick is described as a 43-year-old white male, 6 feet 4 inches tall and about 230 pounds.
Anyone with information about Kilpatrick can call CrimeStoppers at 917-8888, the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department or local law enforcement agencies.
