DEKALB Services for Ross Barefield Jr. were held Friday at 1 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam J. Hull officiating. Burial was in Lynnville Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Barefield, 71, of Preston, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Gully Barefield of Preston; children, Richard Ross Barefield and his wife, Vickie, of Lauderdale, Jean Henderson and her husband, Robert, of Carrollton, Ala. and David Barefield and his wife, Ann, of Preston; grandchildren, Brad Barefield, Brandy Robinson, Kristen Moody, Kelly Keeton, Kevin Barefield, Marcus Henderson, Michael Henderson, Leigh Ellen Barefield, Brittain "Bo Bo" Barefield, and Brody Barefield; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, two sisters, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross Barefield Sr. and Addie Ruth Barefield.
Pallbearers were Brad Barefield, Kevin Barefield, Marcus Henderson, Michael Henderson, Hershel Barefield and Howard Spinks.
Retired seamstress
PHILADELPHIA Services for Lear Mae Green will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be in Spanish Oak Cemetery in Kemper County.
Mrs. Green, 64, of Bailey, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at Regency Hospital of Meridian.
Survivors include a daughter, Felchia Green of Meridian; three sons, Larry Mattar of Birmingham, Ala., George Mattar of Philadelphia and Todd Mattar of Meridian; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby McKinney and Adell Craft, both of DeKalb and Ruth Cobb of Coden, Ala.; and a brother, Oliver Pilgrim of Bailey.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
SEBASTOPOL Services for Keagan Isaac will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pearl River Baptist Church with the Revs. Calvin Gibson and Carl Wilson officiating. Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery in Neshoba County. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Keagan, 2, of Carthage, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at University Medical Center.
Survivors include his mother, Wendy Isaac of Carthage and father, Carlston Isaac Jr., of Philadelphia; sisters, Isabella Willis and Maegan Willis, both of Carthage; brothers, Timothy Willis Jr. of Carthage and Sidney Isaac and Christopher Isaac, both of Philadelphia; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wilson of Carthage and paternal grandmother Ina Mae Isaac of Philadelphia and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carlston Lee Isaac Sr.

DEKALB Graveside services for William Bethany will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery in DeKalb with the Rev. James Ruffin officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charges of arrangements.
Mr. Bethany, 85, of Meridian, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at Beverly Health Care.
Survivors include two sisters, Lucille Lang of DeKalb and Loraine Clower of Crystal Springs.

Services for Dovie Ruth Knighton will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Knighton, 68, of Meridian, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie "Deborah" Knighton Evans and her husband, Paul, of Jackson, and Ruth Green and her husband, Jim, of Petal; a sister, Dell McDonald of Meridian; a nephew, Marty McDonald of Meridian; a great nephew, Tyler McDonald; and two grandchildren, Jonathan Evans and Brittany Evans.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
