60th anniversary
Cameron and Frances Gibson will celebrate their 60th anniversary during a reception at Collinsville United Methodist Church from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. on Dec. 6. The reception is hosted by their daughter, Gwen Nicholas and her husband, David; their grandchildren, Tammy Henderson, Terri Buchanan and Brad Nicholas' and their great-grandchildren, Victoria and Cameron Brown, Nicholas, Meagan and Kaitlyn Buchanan, and Jacob Nicholas. The Gibsons were married Dec. 5, 1943. The couple requests no gifts, please.
50th anniversary
Jack and Peggy Gaines Rushing recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. They were married Nov. 21, 1953. The Rushings are the parents of Brady and his wife, Kim, Dana, Tammy and the late Michael. Their grandchildren are Matthew, Kellie and Justin.
