Local woman dies in single-car accident

Nov. 13, 2003
Stephanie Alisha Mayatt, 21, of Collinsville was killed Tuesday on Highway 495, about 200 yards east of Kings Road, when her car overturned and she was ejected, according to Deputy Coroner Clayton Cobler.
The accident occurred at about 5:35 p.m. Mayatt's body was sent to the Mississippi Mortuary for an autopsy. The Mississippi Highway Patrol and Lauderdale County Sheriff's deputies responded to the accident.
