Murray, Petersen

Leah and Barry D. Hagan of Owensboro, Ky., announce the engagement of their daughter, Shaina Kristine Murray, to Darrick Alan Petersen, son of Dan and Kathy Petersen of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Bellevue Baptist Church of Owensboro, Ky.
Miss Murray is the granddaughter of Brenda Bartlett of Owensboro, Ky.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Apollo High School. She is attending Murray State University in Murray, Ky., pursuing a degree in technical writing, and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Baptist Student Union.
Mr. Petersen is the grandson of Robert Petersen of Grayling, Mich., and Phyllis Meese of Holt, Mich.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Henderson County High School and received a bachelor's degree in computer science from Murray State University.
While attending Murray State, he was a member of AITP and ACM.
Mr. Petersen is employed by Ideal Software Systems, Inc.
A reception will be held at English Park Center in Owensboro following the ceremony.
