Pharmacists endorse Barbour

TUPELO The Mississippi Pharmacists Association announced its endorsement of Republican Haley Barbour during a news conference Wednesday at Bain's Pharmacy in Tupelo.
The Mississippi Pharmacists Association represents 1,500 pharmacists in the state.
Lee Ann Ramsey, president of the Mississippi Pharmacists Association, said the group backs Barbour "because he opposes mail order prescription drugs, supports the involvement of pharmacists in disease management programs, and will use his national experience and relationships to bring strong leadership to Mississippi."
