BATON ROUGE, La. Services for Jack Bradley, Sr. were held Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Port Allen with the Rev. Joe Alain officiating. Burial was in Port Hudson National Cemetery with Bill Rabenhorst Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bradley, of Port Allen, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003. He was a native of Kemper County, Miss. and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having achieved the rank of BM3. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Allen, a life member of the Port Allen Volunteer Fire Department, McKinley-Bourg American Legion Post #160 and a member of USS Little Rock and USS Wyoming.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Bass Bradley; a daughter, Linda B. Benson and her husband, Christopher, of Baton Rouge; a son, Jack Bradley and his wife, Tina, of Batchelor; a sister, Sara Upton, of Meridian, Miss.; and grandchildren, Crystal Lynn Hathcox and her husband, Charles, Lee Douglas Bradley, Bradley Benson and Alexander Benson; and a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Nicole Hathcox.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Douglas and Mary Hale Bradley; a brother, William Douglas Bradley; and stepmother, Nellie Parker Bradley.
Honorary pallbearer was Charles J. LeBlanc.

QUITMAN Services for William L. "Buddy" Barry will be held today at 11 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Edsol Wells and Paul Childress officiating. Burial will be in East Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Clarke County.
Mr. Barry, 76, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 79. He was a retired mechanic for Lockheed Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Barry; a daughter, Vicki LaShane and her husband, Danny; and one grandson, Jason Daniel LaShane, all of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Barry and Mellie Neal Griffin.

PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for Annie Laura Thomas will be held today at 1 p.m. at Cedarlawn Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Thomas, 73, of Baldwyn, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances Gall, of Dallas; a son, Joey Wilson, of Baldwyn; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Timmy Fulton, of Yuma, Ariz.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Services for Allie Bea Huff will be held today at 3 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grady Crowell officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Huff, 87, of Mobile, Ala., died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003 at Cogburn Nursing Facility.
Survivors include a son, Billy Huff, of Mobile, Ala.; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Ida Hegwood.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

NEWTON Services for Hazel T. Caraway will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Hickory Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Caraway, 76, of Hickory, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was retired from the East Mississippi Livestock Association. She was born in Lauderdale County and was a member of Hickory Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Marie Fanning and her husband, Mack, of Hickory, and Betty Murphey and her husband, Vic, of Brandon; a son, David Caraway, of Hickory; five grandchildren, Greg Murphey and his wife, Pam, of Flowood, Jana Gillis and her husband, Rodney, of Pearl, Mark Fanning and his wife, Pattie, of Ridgeland, Mandi Henderson and her husband, Derrick, of Ocean Springs, and Beau Murphey, of Brandon; three great grandchildren, Austin Gillis, Morgan Gillis and Megan Murphey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon E. Caraway, and her parents, Samuel A. and Lillie Harger Turbeville.
Pallbearers will be Greg Murphey, Mark Fanning, Beau Murphey, Rodney Gillis, Davis Bond and Bobby Butler.
Honorary pallbearers will be buyers for the East Mississippi Livestock Association.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

GREENWOOD Services for Myrtice L. Sansing will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Sansing officiating. Burial will be in Moore's Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County with Williams and Lord Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sansing, 89, of Greenwood, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003 at Golden Age Nursing Home. She was born in Neshoba County and lived in Newton, Carroll and Montgomery Counties. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, David Sansing, of Rogers, Ark., Allen Sansing, of Brandon and Rev. Joseph Sansing, of Carrollton; six daughters, Rebecca Wood, of Sunflower, Frances Cain, of Smyrna, Tenn., Mary Beaty, of New Albany, Mattie Mims, of Coila, Esther Alexander, of Little Rock, Ark., and Debra Royals, of Campinas, Brazil; a brother, Plez Nelson, of Desert Springs, Calf.; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. J.C. Sansing.

GULFPORT Services for George W. Darsey, Jr. will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum.
Mr. Darsey, 81, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003 in Gulfport. He was a native and life-long resident of Harrison County. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He retired in 1977, after 35 years as a civil service employee. He was a charter member of Ramsey Memorial United Methodist Church, he also served on the church's official board and he served on the usher committee. He was a member of the Gulfport York Rite Bodies for 57 years, a 32nd degree mason with the Gulfport Scottish Rites, and member of the Orange Grove Masonic Lodge #635 for 58 years, a life member of the Knight Templar Foundation, a member of the Commandry #38 of the Knights Templar, a member of the Gulfport Chapter #121 and a member of the Gulfport Council #52.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Cadle Darsey, of Gulfport; two sons, G. Kent Darsey and his wife, Barbara, of Hickory, and Gary W. Darsey and his wife, Rene, of Gulfport; a daughter, Gail D. Nelson and her husband, Joseph, of Gulfport; a sister, Betty Wilson, of Cottondale, Ala., six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George U. and Lillie Bell Darsey, a brother, William "Bill" Darsey, and a sister, Marie W. Darsey.
Visitation will be Saturday two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
