BUTLER, Ala. Services for Louis Leon Rutledge will be held today at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Donald Turner and Kendall Turner officiating. Burial will be in Eureka Cemetery in Fordtown.
Mr. Rutledge, 73, of Meridian, Miss. died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at his home. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his son, Stephen Rutledge and his wife, Kathy, of Meridian, Miss.; his brother, James A. Rutledge of Opelika; his sister, Ora M. Garrison of Meridian; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services for Frankie Pace Moore will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ramon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore, of Meridian, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of State Boulevard Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William R. "Bob" Moore of Meridian; her son, William Frank Moore and his wife, Carol, of Satellite, Fla.; her daughter, Cathy Moore Heflin of Plano, Texas; three granddaughters, one grandson, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dr. Joe K. Moore, her parents, three sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

MONROE, La. Services for John Howard Snider will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church in Monroe with the Revs. Joe Solomon and Weldon Bares officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery in Meridian, Miss. Mulhearn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Snider, 79, of Monroe, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, but the greatest joy in his life came from his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Snider was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Lea Joyner United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Martha Jane LaSuzzo Snider, five daughters, Vicki Crosby and her husband, Danny, of Baton Rouge; Johnnie Kennedy and her husband, Mike, of Monroe; Denise Hollimen and her husband, Rick, of Troy, N.H.; and Clesi Neitz and her husband, Pete, and Martha Jo Reeves and her husband, Mike, all of Monroe; his two sons, Bill McKinney and his wife, Cindy of El Dorado, Ark.; Merwin McKinney and his wife, Katrina, of Monroe; 12 grandchildren, Brad Crosby and Danielle Butler of Baton Rouge; Chelsi and Jacob McKinney of El Dorado; Michael and Caleb Kennedy, Amber and Chad Reeves, Mallory and Justin Neitz, April and Jonathan McKinney, all of Monroe; four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Kade Crosby, Ashtyn Butler and Jarren Crotwell, all of Baton Rouge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lula Mae Snider, his wife of 22 years, Vera Rawson Snider, his brother, Charles Kermit Snider, his sister, Lottie Mae Jennings and his grandson, Colby Lane Kennedy.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Mike Snider, Mitch Snider, Heath Snider, Mark Snider and William Earl Burch. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Sherman Guthrie will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Herschel Kilpatrick and Mike Ragland officiating. Burial will be in Coldwater Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mr. Guthrie, 98, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Guthrie, his daughter, Shirley Belk, and his son, Toris Guthrie, all of Philadelphia; his step-daughters, Joann Killebrew of Houston; Mary Quinn and Rachael Tucker, both of Brandon; Yvette Ladd and Margaret Peebles, both of Philadelphia; and Linda Chennault, of Kosciusko; step-sons, Tommy Smith, Larry Smith and Scottie Smith, all of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eunice Guthrie, in 1984.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
