Robbery suspect sought

Meridian police were searching today for a man who robbed the Texaco gas station on 47th Avenue and Eighth Street. The suspect fled the scene and remained at large. A police spokesman said the suspect who robbed the store was carrying a knife and that investigators were viewing a store surveillance tape for possible clues to his identity.
