Errors were frequent at USM

HATTIESBURG There were a total of 25 errors committed after during the Hattiesburg Regional, 10 by Southern University, eight by USM, four by Baylor, and three by Murray State.
History
USM's 18-0 win over Murray State Saturday was the largest margin of victory in C-USA history and the fourth time that a C-USA team has posted a shutout in NCAA Tournament action.
Record Attendance
A new Pete Taylor Park attendance mark of 4,601 was set Sunday. Total attendance this weekend was 24,004.
Records
Home runs by Jeff Cook and Clint King Saturday gave them both 23 on the season, tying a USM single season mark. Cook and King combined with Brad Willcutt (12 home runs) to become the most prolific home run trio in USM history with 58.
Injury Update
USM Sunday starter Anthony Dewitt was cruising along against Baylor but had to leave the game after hurting his elbow throwing a pitch. Dewitt was to be evaluated today to determine the extent of his injury.

David Murphy of Baylor was voted by the media as the Hattiesburg Regional'sMost Valuable Player.
