Roberson, Cooper

Ricky and Lynn Roberson of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Robbi, to Shay Cooper, son of Harold and Sherryel Cooper of Amory.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 31, 2003, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Collinsville.
Miss Roberson is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ikie Ethridge of Collinsville, and Macie Roberson of Toomsuba and the late William Roberson.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School and attended Meridian Community College. She received a bachelor's degree, with emphasis psychology, from the University of Southern Mississippi.
While attending USM, she was a member of the fast pitch softball team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a USM Diamond Darlins.
She is employed by Troy Brand Furniture.
Mr. Cooper is the grandson of Hilda Cooper of Hatley and the late J. W. Cooper, and Mary Parham of Hatley and the late Chap Parham.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Amory High School and attended Itawamba Community College. He received a bachelor's and master's of education degree in special education from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Cooper is employed by Meridian Public School District at Meridian High School.
A reception will be held in the church's family life center following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
