GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for James Russell Miller will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Center Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Sherod Matheny officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Miller, 44, of Stockton, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, in Mobile.
Survivors include his father, James Russell Miller of Shubuta, Miss., his mother, Marie Davis Miller of Shubuta; his wife, Laura L. Miller of Stockton; a step-son, Jesse J. Sproles of Foley; daughters, Rachel Joella Miller of Stockton, and Emily K. Miller of Atmore; a step-daughter, Angela Bartley of Atmore; sisters, Ann Miller Robinson of Kingsport, Tenn., Sue Whatley of Laurel, Miss., Virginia Miller and Kathy Miller both of Shubuta; several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for George Markline will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Markline, 90, of Lauderdale County, died Saturday, May 10, 2003, in Lauderdale. He was a veteran of World War II, Army Air Corp.
Survivors include his daughter, Denise Dengler and her husband, Bob, of Lauderdale; a son, George Markline III and his wife, Kathy, of Mobile, Ala.; grandchildren, George Markline IV, Kenneth Markline and Kevin Dengler; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Markline and a grandson, Jeff Jones.
Memorials may be made to Hope Village for Children in Meridian.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Markline, George Markline IV, and Kevin Dengler.

DEKALB Services for Willie Hull Jr. will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. John Primitive Baptist Church in DeKalb, with the Rev. Greg Watkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hull, 44, of DeKalb, died Friday, May 9, 2003, in his home.
Survivors include his father, Bobby Lee Hull; sisters, Carolyn Love and her husband, Alfred, Linda White and her husband, George, all of DeKalb, Barbara Lancelin and her husband, Bryant, of Stone Mountain, Ga.; brothers, Anthony Hull and his wife, Angela, and Curtis Hull, all of DeKalb and Ernest Whitsey of Meridian; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be Friday 2 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Mattie Lee Adams Osby will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Kemper County with the Revs. James L. Osby and Jimmy C. Osby officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Osby, 83, of the Moscow Community in Kemper County, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her sons, Ozell Osby and his wife, Nella, the Rev. James L. Osby and his wife, Dr. Willie Pearl Osby, Willie B. Osby and his wife, Gloria, all of Meridian, Algene Osby of Akron, Ohio, the Rev. Jimmy C. Osby and his wife, Tina, of Tyler, Texas, and Johnny E. Osby of Meridian; daughters, Mary Lene Osby and Barbara Adams, both of Meridian.
Visitation will be Friday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian.
