Rawson, White

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Rawson of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Rae, to Jason Brent White, son of Neldia Martin White of Meridian and the late Jeff White.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 10, 2003, at 5 p.m. in a garden ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Covington.
Miss Rawson is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Harold Covington of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. M.E. Rawson of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and received an associate's degree in nursing from Meridian Community College.
Miss Rawson is employed by Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mr. White is the grandson of Mrs. Ottis Martin of Meridian and the late Cecil Martin, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Archie White.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School and attended East Mississippi Community College.
He is employed by Rowan Company, Inc.
A reception will be held at Briarwood Country Club following the ceremony.
