FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Services for Ret. Staff Sgt. John Daniel Chadwell Jr. will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Chadwell, 78, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, May 1, 2003, in his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He served in World War II and Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth S. Chadwell of Fayetteville; daughters, Gail C. Dasen of Cary, N.C., Faye A. Chadwell of Eugene, Ore., and Barbara Sue Chadwell of Asheboro, N.C.; sons, Chief Petty Officer Gary W. Chadwell of Pearl City, Hawaii, Mark H. Chadwell of Garner, N.C., Larry D. Chadwell of Edmond, Okla., and Dennis L. Chadwell of Cary; a sister, Annie B. Mauck of Front Royal, Va.; a brother, Lawrence Chadwell of Huntly, Va.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Anderson Chandler will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Greater Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with J.W. Perrien Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. James L. Osby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chandler, 85, of Meridian, died Thursday, May 1, 2003, at Benchmark Nursing Center.
Survivors include his daughters, Ella Rice of Meridian and Patricia Chaney of Gulfport; and a son, Andrew Chandler of Meridian.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian.

PHILADELPHIA Services for O.D. McKay will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Pentecostal Church in Winston County with the Revs. J.R. McFall and Duaine Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McKay, 79, of Louisville, died Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Alliance-Laird Hospital in Union.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel McKay of Louisville; daughters, Janice Eubanks and Frankie Shumaker, both of Philadelphia; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Annie Bess Todd of Louisville, Nell Humphries of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Marie Prisock of Jackson.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

Graveside services for Celia Keller Graydon will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. James A. Ruffin officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Graydon, 49, of Quitman, died Saturday, May 3, 2003, in Meridian.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky Graydon of Quitman; a daughter, Francie Hayes and her husband, Kris, of Meridian; a granddaughter, Kristin Rachel Hayes of Meridian; her parents, Everette and Rachel Keller, both of Meridian; and a sister, Fayne Walker of Prairieville, La.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Keller.
Pallbearers will be Danny Keller, Keith Keller, Danny Hayes, Kris Hayes, Thomas Walker and Larry Walker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Burgy, Johnny Branning and Chris Gwin.
Visitation will be Tuesday 1 p.m.-1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Noel T. Coward will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry W. Fox, William Cook and Thomas Meek officiating.
Mr. Coward, 65, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a material logistics manager with Sikorsky Support Systems, a member of the Retired Officers Association and a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved sailing and helping his wife in the garden.
Survivors include his wife and best friend, Kathleen M. Coward of Meridian; three daughters, Holly Knight and her husband, Adam, of Nashville, Alexandra Coward of Houston, Texas, and Leslie Ann Coward of Dallas; a son, Noel C. Coward and his wife, Karen, of Mobile, Ala.; three grandchildren, Sabrina Knight, Estelle Coward and Emily Coward; and sisters, Carol Allen of Deeth, Nev., and Norma Barton of Honolulu, Hawaii.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Easter Ray Coward and Pearl T. Coward.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cockrell, 77, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
Survivors include three daughters, Jeanie McMillan and Sherry Copeland, both of Philadelphia, and Judy Jolly of Collinsville; sons, Dr. Mike Cockrell of Senatobia and Johnny Cockrell of Valparaiso, Fla.; sisters, Willa Williamson, Bobbie Graham and Gladys Savell, all of Philadelphia, and Eva Wilcher of Carthage; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
