Graveside services for Kenneth Wayne Sellers will be held at Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sellers, 58, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, in Meridian. He was a 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Sellers of Meridian; three children, Tracie Latting, Doug Sellers and his wife, Andrea, and Tyler Sellers, all of Meridian; grandchildren, Chase, Trevor and Weston Latting; a brother, Mickey Sellers and his wife, Brenda, of Meridian; and a sister, Lynn McWilliams and her husband, Joe, of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Myrtle Sellers.
Memorials may be made to Lynn McWilliams or Mickey Sellers.
Pallbearers will be John Allen Horne, Joe McWilliams, Ricky Horne, Al Brewer and David Archie.
Visitation will be today 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery.
PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for Frank Johnson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Leber officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson, 88, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, in his home. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and served in World War II in the South Pacific.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Johnson of Philadelphia; son, Dee Johnson of Agoura,Calif.; daughters, Meridith Wheatley of Northport, Ala. and Jane Bentley of Philadelphia; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Andrew Johnson of Philadelphia.
Memorials may be made to Gideons International or a favorite charity.
Visitation will be today 30 minutes prior to the services at the church.
QUITMAN Services for Mary Ruth Fowler will be held today at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. John Kottonbrook officiating. Burial will be at Twistwood Cemetery in Rose Hill. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fowler, 72, of Rose Hill, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Fowler of Rose Hill; sons, Allen W. Fowler of Rose Hill and Charles E. Fowler of Meridian; a brother, Allen Clearmon of Meridian; a sister, Grace Loven of Pensacola, Fla.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a nephew, William E. Harris of Rose Hill.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Services for Charlie Turner Harrison will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jason Gross officiating. Burial will be in Suqualena Cemetery.
Mr. Harrison, 77, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at Guardian Angel Hospice. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Elks and Moose Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars and PDK.
Survivors include his sisters, Bea Pharr Hull and her husband, George, of Vicksburg and Bernice McClellan of Biloxi; seven nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Harrison; an aunt, Virgie Mummsen and a good friend, Kathy Sims.
Pallbearers will be Josh Harrison, Stennis Harrison, Bo Baulkin, Jack McMullen, and Harold Bateman. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the VFW.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Myrtle Lang Snider will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Snider, 56, of Meridian, died Friday, April 25, 2003 at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Snider of Meridian; four sisters, Jackie Shanno of Omaha, Neb., Louise Shanno of Council Bluffs, Ia., Alberta Lang of New York City and Colleen Paterson of Grand Forks, S.D.; five brothers, Arlan Lang and Lee Lang of Hendrum, Minn., John Lang of California, Albert Lang Jr. of Maryland and Larry Lang of Minnesota; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Snider of Meridian; and a close friend, Mary Formby.
Mrs. Sniders' ashes will be scattered at Mount Gilead Cemetery in Hendrum, Minn.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Jean Whaley, 75, of Meridian, who died Friday, April 25, 2003 at Jeff Anderson Regional Hospital.
