50th anniversary
The children and grandchildren of Winton and Boots Watts will host a 50th anniversary reception on April 13, 2003, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, 2511 C St. in Meridian. The Watts were married April 19, 1953. Their
children are: Susan Parker and her husband, Tom, of Sandersville and Walter Winton Watts Jr. and his wife, Michelle, of Jackson; and a granddaughter, Ashlyn Watts of Jackson. Family and friends are invited to attend. No gifts please.
50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Narvesen of Meridian will celebrate their 50th anniversary today. They were married in New York on April 6, 1953. Al and Helen have two daughters, Dale Tanner and her husband, Steve, and Debbie Harrison and her
husband, Randy; and four grandchildren, Daina Carney and her husband, Bobby Jo, Felicia Wood and her husband, Tony, Joel Harrison and Jimmy Tanner; and three great-grandchildren, Scarlett Carney, Bobby Jo Carney and Austin Wood.
