QUITMAN Services for Howard "Red" Lucas will be held today at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Sanders and Mike DePhillips officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lucas, 79, of Quitman, died Monday, March 31, 2003, in Quitman.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Lucas; sons, Larry Lucas, Randy Lucas and Scotty Lucas, all of Quitman; daughters, Brenda Stubbs of Houston, Texas, and Glenda Hutchison of Quitman; brothers, Earl Lucas and Vernon Lucas, both of Quitman; a sister, Natalie Smith of Meridian; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Lucas; and a grandson, Eric Lucas.
Pallbearers will be Michael Lucas, Fred Lucas, Ronald Long, Robby Lucas, Mike Lucas and Sonny Hayes.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 30 minutes before the service at the church.

LOUISVILLE Services for Clayton Ralph Wirgau will be held today at 11 a.m. at Porter Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Wirgau, 29, of Gulfport, died Friday, March 28, 2003, at St. John's Medical Center in Detroit. He was a graduate of Meridian Community College where he earned a licensed practical nursing degree. He worked at the Veteran's Hospital in Gulfport.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Ralph and Chris Wirgau of Richmond, Mich.; his mother, Sylvia Wirgau of Meridian; a sister, Rebecca Harris of Meridian; a half-bother, Nathan Wirgau; grandmother, Irene Hood of Meridian; grandparents, Norma and Art Wirgau of Phoenix, Ariz.; nieces, Rachel Harris and Sarah Harris; and an aunt and uncle, Hugh and Ann Hood Jr.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hugh Hood Sr.

Memorial services for Mary Davidson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness with Brother Herbert Stewart officiating. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Davidson, 99, of Meridian, died Friday, March 28, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her sisters, Vada Randon of Compton, Calif., and Verba Glass of Pasadena, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Davidson; her father, Tillman Loudd; and her mother, Annie Mae Cockerman.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Lois Arledge will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Beam officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mrs. Arledge, 84, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Sue Arledge of Philadelphia; sons, James Thomas Arledge of Philadelphia and Elzey "Joe" Arledge Jr. of Woodbridge, Va.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Lonnie Grace Dunn of Meridian and Littie Mae Williams of Greenville; and a brother, William Harold Roberson of Jackson.
Visitation will be today 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Services for Adney Ray Reese will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Franklin McCelland, Joe Gullick and Dennis Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Clarke County.
Mr. Reese, 81, of Stonewall, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Heartfelt Hospice in Meridian. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Reese Parnell of Stonewall and Donna Reese Jimerson and her husband, Ralph, of Gilbertown, Ala.; a brother, A.J. Reese Jr. of DeSoto; sisters, Jan Tomson of Chunky, Opal Graham and Nadine Scruggs, both of Meridian; two grandchildren, Joseph Jimerson and Matthew Parnell; and a special family friend, Lester Willoughby.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine G. Reese.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Long, Jake Williams, Mark Mathis, Mickey Long, Edwin Gunn and Dewayne Crane.
Visitation will be today beginning at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Alexander, 53, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 29, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
