Services for Viva Mae Hamburg will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Chander officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Quitman.
Mrs. Hamburg, 64, of Meridian, died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at her home.
Survivors include five sons, Larry Watkins and Ronnie Hamburg, both of Meridian, Johnny Hamburg and his wife Vena, of Fountain, Fla., David Hamburg and his wife, Lynn, of Lake, and Bobby Hamburg and his wife, Melissa, of Stonewall; four daughters, Jackie Weir and her husband, Jack, Linda Crews, and Paula Gilbert and her husband, Paul, all of Meridian, and Barbara Cameron; and special friend, Betty Everette; 24 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hamburg; a son, William Harold Hamburg; and her parents.
The family requests memorials be made to Union Planters Bank Special Account for funeral expenses.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Amos L. McMullan will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Laird officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton.
Mr. McMullan, 92, of Jackson, died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at his home. He was a resident of Willow Creek Retirement Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Thomas and her husband, Robert, of Flowood; two grandchildren, Teresa Lynch of Woodstock, Ga., and Benny Thomas of Brandon; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lou McMullan.

NEWTON Graveside services for Orene Stephens Round will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Newton County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Curtis Cain officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Round, 83, of Newton, died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at Rest Haven Personal Care. She was a retired clerk for BellSouth and AT&T. She was a native of Newton County and was a member of Newton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clifton Foley Round; a niece, Jean Stephens Lewis; and a nephew, Carnett T. Lewis, all of Jackson; and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Morgan and Rose Gibbs Stephens; three sisters, Myrtle Brantley, Kate Thrash and Beulah Hudson; and three brothers, Albert Stephens, Curtis Stephens and S.M. Stephens.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

Services for John Albert Thedford will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Tamola Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. L.C. Thedford officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Kemper County. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thedford, 62, of Meridian, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his sisters, Lula Thedford of Meridian and Littie Sawyer and her husband, George, of Detroit.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Thedford and his mother, Mabel Thedford.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for James Edwin "Jamie" Dyer will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Henson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Dyer, 38, of Collinsville, died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Arrowood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Brandon Lee Dyer of Jackson; a daughter, Jamie Madison Dyer of Collinsville; parents, Annie Marie and William Henry Brand II of Meridian; maternal grandmother, Virginia H. Harris of Meridian; brothers, Thomas Austin Dyer of Hickory and William Henry Brand III of Las Vegas; a sister, Judy Ann McQueen and her husband, Allen, of Enterprise; and seven nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and a special friend, Wayne Jones and a special uncle B.L. Hastings.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Austin Tyrone and James H. Harris.
Pallbearers will be Lester Gressett, Mike Weir, Wayne Minyard, Doug Sykes, Craig Kins and Danny Burcham. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, Derick Dyer, Blake Dyer, Austin Dyer, Brandon McQueen, Bradley McQueen, Joshua McQueen, and John Michael McQueen.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
