Mr. Napp, 80, of Meridian, died Sunday, March 9, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Napp of Meridian; daughters, Jo Ann Bradley and her husband, Ed, of Meridian, Nancy Harris and her husband, Bobby, of Stonewall and Rosa Garrard and her husband, Roger, of Louisville; a son, the Rev. Jessie L. Napp and his wife, Ramona, of Meridian; a sister, Jewel Scowden of Delphi, Ind.; a brother, Roy Napp and his wife, Dot, of Haughten, La.; grandchildren, Monica Bradley, A.J. Napp, Daniel Harris, David Harris, Karen Napp, Carrie Walden, Justin Walden, Christina Franklin, Sonja Bradley Murry, Tim Murry, Bobby Joe Harris, Misty Harris, Billy Joe Harris, Joseph Walden and Janie Walden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee Napp and Mary Robert Gough Napp; and several siblings.
Pallbearers will be Howard Weathers, Eddie Broadway, Billy Kennedy, Dean Carmichael, Jeff Cullum and J.W. Mitchell.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Visitation will be today beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

VICKSBURG Services for the Rev. Curtis M. Lott will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Durrwise Center at Wesley Pines Camping and Retreat Center in Gallman. Burial will be in Redbone United Methodist Church Cemetery in Vicksburg. Glenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Rev. Lott, 73, of Vicksburg, died Saturday, March 8, 2003, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Miller Lott of Vicksburg; daughters, Carol Conn and her husband, Charles, of Pearl, Debbie Poole and her husband, Joe, of Pascagoula, Kathy Oakes and her husband, Nathan, of Vicksburg, Cindy Wagner and her husband, Matt, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Penny Douglas and her husband, Caleb, of Canton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Grayson Lott and his wife, Linda, of Midway and Garvin Lott of Columbia; sisters, Edith Smith of Sumrall, Evalee Stringer of Bassfield, Ouida Stewart and her husband, Fred, of Charleston, S.C., and Ivell Miley of Bogalusa, La.; several other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Wesley Pines Camp in Gallman, Miss.
Visitation will be today 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m. until service time.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Barbara R. Eckel will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Eckel, 62, of Collinsville, formerly of Topeka, Kan., died Sunday, March, 9, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Eckel of Collinsville; her mother, Lindy Boler of Linwood; daughters, DeAnn Simmons of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Vicki Armstrong of Topeka; a son, David Eckel, in the U.S. Army and stationed in Germany; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Clifford, J.D. and Sam Boler; sisters, Brenda Robertson and Marie Tucker; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clinton Boler.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church

QUITMAN Services for Gary Whitaker will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Lowell officiating. Burial will be in Archusa Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Clarke County.
Mr. Whitaker, 55, of Enterprise, died Sunday, March 9, 2003, at Abram-Kaplan Memorial Hospital in Kaplan, La.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Whitaker of Enterprise; sons, Gary Travis Whitaker, Steven Daniel Whitaker and Jeffery Whitaker, all of Enterprise, and Dewayne Edward Costin of Houston, Texas; daughters, Chandra Lee Kelly of Enterprise, Robbie Lynn Aaron of Stonewall and Tammie Ivey Rankin of Richmond, Texas; brothers, Jimmy R. Whitaker Sr. of Quitman, J.D. Whitaker of Stonewall, Johnny Ray Whitaker of Amarillo, Texas, and Hal Whitaker of Laurel; sisters, Marie West of Quitman and Eva Dixon of Little Rock, Ark.; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be today beginning at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside services for Blanche Juanita Audria Jones Pigott will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pigott, 78, of Lexington, Ky., formerly of Meridian, died Sunday, March 9, 2003, at Hospice Care Center in St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Meridian, the daughter of the late Hugh and Audria Culpepper Jones.
Survivors include her daughter, Audria Patricia Pigott Havens and her husband, Dr. Dennis L. Havens, of Lexington; a son, Richard Kelly Pigott; seven grandchildren, Christopher Elliott Havens and his wife, Jennifer, of Baltimore, Md., Ashley Patricia Havens of Cincinnati, Adam Wesley Havens of Lexington, Whitney Elizabeth Havens, Lyndsey Catherine Havens, both of Lexington, Kelly Pigott Holcomb and Mariposa Pigott Fields, both of Meridian; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Lexington Humane Society, 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY 40504.
Visitation will be Thursday 9:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m. at the funeral home.

Services for John Albert Thedford will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Tamola Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. L.C. Thedford officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Kemper County. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thedford, 62, of Meridian, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Mabel Johnson of Meridian; sisters, Lula Thedford of Meridian and Littie Sawyer and her husband, George, of Detroit.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Thedford.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.- 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
