Mr. and Mrs. Tommy M. Tomlinson of Starkville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Noelle, to Robert Henry Fyke III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Henry Fyke II of Clinton.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 7, 2003, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Starkville.
Miss Tomlinson is the granddaughter of Mrs. Adair Beeman of Collinsville and the late Mr. Beeman, and Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Tomlinson of Starkville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Starkville Academy and received her bachelor's degree in microbiology from Mississippi State University. She is currently attending the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she is a second-year medical student.
While attending MSU, she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, a G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery Scholar, an MSU Roadrunner, a Student Association Senator and a president's list scholar.
Mr. Fyke is the grandson of Mrs. William Adams of Pensacola, Fla., and the late Mr. Adams, and Mrs. Robert Henry Fyke of Starkville and the late Robert Henry Fyke.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clinton High School and received a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, he was a member of the MSU Club Soccer Team and "Brilla" Ministry Soccer Team.
He is employed by Clinton Junior High School as a seventh-grade science teacher, assistant soccer coach and assistant baseball coach.
A reception will be at The Caragen House in Starkville following the ceremony.
