Irby, Rawson

Janet Rawson and Terry Joe "T.J." Irby, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church with the Rev. James Ruffin officiating.
Parents of the couple are Gwen Robinson of Meridian and the late Jack Robinson; Joan Irby of Meridian and the late J. Nelson Irby.
Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burnell Banes, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe. B. Robinson.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Irby, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Covington.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Blair Rawson, daughter of the bride.
The bride was escorted by Tommy Robinson, brother-in-law of the bride.
She wore an ivory gown with an illusion portrait neckline accenting a fully embroidered bodice with a shoe-laced back. The full skirt featured a multi-aproned back edged in European lace and swept into a detachable cathedral-length train. She also wore a veil of silk illusion.
Blair Rawson of Meridian, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor. Mackenzie and Morgan Ross of Meridian served as flower girls.
Eric Irby of Meridian, son of the bridegroom, served as best man.
Groomsmen and ushers were Dave Irby of Meridian, brother of the bridegroom, Steven Irby of Meridian, nephew of the bridegroom, David Copeland of Hattiesburg, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Matt Jones of Meridian.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Danna Robinson, Jennifer Olsen, Renae Irby and Lynn Grayson.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Meridian.
