Martin, Yeattes

Kathy Marie Yeattes and Gregory Wayne Martin were married Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Rock Church in Petersburg, Va., with the Rev. Gerald W. Davis officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Jesse T. Yeattes Sr. of Disputanta, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby R. Martin of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was Phillip Hauser, pianist; Phillip and Jennifer Hauser, Jeff Carson, Judith Henshaw and Carol Traylor, vocalists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a princess-cut white royal satin gown with short sleeves. The bodice and sleeves were accented with Venice lace and pearls. The skirt swept into a cathedral-length train and was accented with Venice lace.
Judith C. Henshaw of Petersburg served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Holly Yeattes of Disputanta, sister-in-law of the bride, Rhonda Strought of Colonial Heights and Sonja Davis of Petersburg.
Berkley Henshaw of Petersburg served as junior bridesmaid. Flower girl was Madison Carson of Petersburg.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man.
Groomsmen and ushers were Andy and Kevin Martin of Meridian, brothers of the bridegroom, and Jess T. Yeattes Jr. of Disputanta, brother of the bride. Kyle Hayes of Disputanta, nephew of the bride, served as junior groomsman. Ring bearer was Mykal Davis of Petersburg.
Mistress of ceremonies was Brenda Musselwhite of Chester, Va.
After a honeymoon in Virginia Beach, Va., the couple resides in Colonial Heights, Va., where the bride is employed by the Virginia Baptist Children's Home and the bridegroom is employed by Aflac Insurance Company.
