Howell, Lachney

Byron and Cynthia Howell of Decatur announce the engagement of their daughter, Dinah Rebekah, to Richmond Paul Lachney, son of Blane and Valerie Lachney of Tunica, La., and Rolley and Dawn Howell of Amite, La.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 14, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church in Decatur.
Miss Howell is the granddaughter of the late Herbert and Coy Howell of Pontotoc, Peggy Chandler of Tupelo and the late Ralph Chandler.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Newton County High School is attending East Central Community College majoring in music education.
At ECCC, she is a member of the Warrior Corps, the Warrior Band, the Accents, the BSU Praise Team and the concert choir.
Mr. Lachney is the grandson of Victor and Irma Lachney of Moureville, La., and Beth Humphreys of Batchelor, La., Hobsons Humphreys and the late Mary Massengale Humphreys of Hickory, and Paul and Wileen Howell of Amite.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newton County High School and is attending East Central Community College.
At ECCC, he is a member of the Warrior Corps, president of the freshman class, BSU Drama Team and the president's club.
Mr. Lachney is employed by the Mississippi Army National Guard in the 1st 204th Air Defense Artillery Battalion as a combat medic.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
